Week of September 24

I LOVE FALL!  It's my favorite time of year- cool mornings & nights, crisp days with beautiful Carolina Blue Skies, leaves beginning to turn- Who doesn't love this weather?!

If you're new to Mustard Seed Kitchen, first of all, Welcome!  Second, I always offer a homemade meal, side, starch or bread & dessert.  Every week the menu changes.  In the summer, I always offer a Main Dish Salad or Quiche, and in the winter, I make a big pot of soup every week.  Soups and Desserts are my Specialties.  I will also sell soup by the quart if you'd like some to freeze.

This Week's Menu:

Soup- Lentil and Roasted Red Pepper (w/Ham), Salad, Homemade Molasses Brown Bread, Salad & Dessert

Meal- Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans & Dessert

Like a Quiche- Eggs Ortega- An Egg Casserole that is especially good for supper!  Eggs, Cheese, Chile Peppers, Serve with your own Salsa, Sour Cream and additional toppings you would put on Tacos!  Comes with Spinach Salad & Dessert

Dessert of the Week-  Fresh Apple Cake.  A Bundt cake with fresh apples, and pecans and a brown sugar glaze.
