Summertime

I love to go to local produce markets and stands.  For the summer, I'll be offering a Main Dish Salad each week- made with the best fresh produce I can find, locally grown if possible.  These will also include yummy toppings- pecans, dried fruits, feta, goat or blue cheese, homemade croutons and dressings.
You can add Grilled Chicken ($7.50), London Broil ($8.50) or Salmon ($10.00) to your Salad, and I'll deliver the meal to you with a Homemade Dessert!

In addition, the week of June 24, I'm offering "Real Deal" Fried Chicken with Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Green Beans and Dessert.  And the Dessert of the Week will be:  Lemon Cheesecake with Homemade Raspberry Sauce!

This Week the days are warm, but the evenings are chilly.  I'm making my last Soup of the Spring (unless we have major weather changes!).  I will make some soups during the summer, using fresh vegetables.  So remember- there's always soup in the freezer if you need a quart for yourself, or a friend!  Just call and ask what's available-

Available Thursday 4/28 through Saturday 4/30 mid-day.  Order Early!

Week of September 24

I LOVE FALL!  It's my favorite time of year- cool mornings & nights, crisp days with beautiful Carolina Blue Skies, leaves beginning to turn- Who doesn't love this weather?!

If you're new to Mustard Seed Kitchen, first of all, Welcome!  Second, I always offer a homemade meal, side, starch or bread & dessert.  Every week the menu changes.  In the summer, I always offer a Main Dish Salad or Quiche, and in the winter, I make a big pot of soup every week.  Soups and Desserts are my Specialties.  I will also sell soup by the quart if you'd like some to freeze.

This Week's Menu:

Soup- Lentil and Roasted Red Pepper (w/Ham), Salad, Homemade Molasses Brown Bread, Salad & Dessert

Meal- Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans & Dessert

Like a Quiche- Eggs Ortega- An Egg Casserole that is especially good for supper!  Eggs, Cheese, Chile Peppers, Serve with your own Salsa, Sour Cream and additional toppings you would put on Tacos!  Comes with Spinach Salad & Dessert

Dessert of the Week-  Fresh Apple Cake.  A Bundt cake with fresh apples, and pecans and a brown sugar glaze.
